Good to Know
When should I book my bridal fittings?
Six to eight weeks before the wedding for the first fitting. The number of fittings depends on the gown.
Is the visit fee part of the alteration price?
No. The visit fee covers our trips to your home. The alteration work is priced separately and confirmed in writing at your first fitting.
What should I have ready for the fitting?
The shoes and undergarments you'll wear on the day, and any accessories like a belt or veil.
Do you alter dresses bought anywhere?
Yes. Boutique, online, consignment or vintage.
Do you make custom dresses or alter suit jackets?
No. We specialize in alterations of dresses, gowns and trousers.
How do I pay the balance?
The remaining balance is due at the final fitting, by card.
Policies
The Fine Print
- Bridal work requires a 50% deposit, applied to your final price.
- Visit fees are non-refundable once a visit has taken place. You can reschedule any visit free of charge up to 48 hours ahead.
- Once work has started, the deposit is non-refundable.
- By booking, you authorize us to charge the card you saved for your home visits and for alteration work you approve at your fitting.
- Expedited service is a flat $100, when our schedule allows.
- Garments not collected within 60 days of completion may be donated.
